About our founder
Sanjeev Paramanathan
Sanjeev, the founder and director of Tangerine Tax, provides strategic guidance to clients, drawing on his extensive experience to navigate complex tax and financial matters. With seasoned experience advising the tech industry, Sanjeev brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. His expertise helps businesses of all types and sizes thrive.
Prior to forming Tangerine Tax, Sanjeev worked for a number of banks in Finance, Risk & Treasury where he strengthened his aptitude for problem solving!
In his spare time, Sanjeev plays tennis and goes to the gym. He was a semi professional tennis player and represented Sri Lanka at the Davis Cup back in his glory days.

Syed Aamir
Syed Aamir has over 12 years practice experience in Chartered Accountancy Firms in London. He is our tax nerd and never shys away from a good tax efficiency discussion with our clients. In his spare time, Syed enjoys travelling, listening to music and reading books.
Salman Nawaz
Salman is a goal-oriented finance professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. Holding an ACMA and a member of AAT, Salman is also pursuing an MBA and is in the final stages of his CA qualification.
Imali Abeysinghe
Imali is a highly skilled and results-driven finance professional with over five years of experience in bookkeeping, auditing, and financial reporting. With a strong background in financial accounting, she has successfully led bank reconciliations, tax filings, and internal control reviews.
Shafraz Rafee
Shafraz is a chartered management accountant with more than 10 years of experience in audit firms and commerce industries where he served in various senior finance roles. Shafraz is also a part time lecturer who teaches the use of accounting software to aspiring accountants.
Pratheeban Perumal
Pratheeban is our bookkeeping expert well-seasoned in the use of most accounting softwares including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. He is also our automation guru constantly looking at streamlining the bookkeeping and accounting process of our clients.
Vidhugahar Puwanachandran
Vidhugahar has a strong accounting and financial management foundation. Currently pursuing professional qualifications in accounting, he possesses excellent analytical skills, time management, and a keen ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Anusha Nirmali
Anusha is an accounting professional with experience in bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and management reporting for UK and New Zealand clients. Skilled in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and compliance with HMRC and IRD, she is pursuing CA and AAT and has guided junior staff with collaborative leadership.
